On November 22, SSDW 2025 will launch. Yoyogi Koen will be the theatre of street dance contests, breaking contests and battle parks, a thrilling experience for both young and less young ones. To be noted, candidates can register for some competitions until November 19, but the website seems to be very Japanese.

From June 20 to 22, Akram Khan, the famous English choregrapher will present his 2022 work, Jungle Book reimagined, at Saitama Arts Theatre. The work from Rudyard Kipling is revisited, and related to ecology and the climate crisis. A performance which will also be a hit with children (8 years+).
On March 29 and 30, a contemporary dance Japanese company will present a program widely appraised and appealing both to children and their parents. Very reasonable pricing to discover new works, and share with family. Booking is English friendly.
