From November 27 to December 6, Sheep Dog Theatre, one of the most active English speaking company in Tokyo, will perform the famous Shakespeare comedy in Shinjuku Theater Bonbon, in English with Japanese subtitles. The cast includes Yurie Collins, also famous for her bilingual stand ups, and Jon Sabay, who was great in The effect. As good as a Kenneth Brannagh movie can be, nothing matches watching such a great play on stage. Sleeping Dog has a great history of producing good plays, from traditional playwrights to contemporary works, and I can definitely recommend to give it a try ! More information here.
